This existing high school campus was in great need of refreshing its well-loved outdoor dining and common areas.  This internal courtyard has held shaded seating areas where students gather for lunch or during free time and a relief of green space to lounge on a sunny day.  Blu Fish Collaborative enjoyed coming in to work with the district and design team to replace these spaces with strong new metal shade structures, furnishings and seat walls that will last for years to come and also help these spaces tie into the historic architecture of the school buildings.  New trees were also brought in to expand shaded areas with a different feel and to keep the cost within the district’s budget.
