These homeowners turned to Blu Fish Collaborative to help update the exterior space of  their new family home.  Beautiful native Oak trees set a dramatic stage with sweeping low branches.  Low brick planters were removed to open up a grand walkway and view to the front door.  A clean color palette was chosen to simplify the look.  Strong concrete bands that become walls as the cross the sloping grade of the yard provide striking rhythm to the front approach.  These concrete steps are replicated in a subtler way with large concrete stepping stones that wind and step through the lawn to the street.  In-grade lights and integral concrete stairs flow seamlessly into the design to add function and safety.  Faceted concrete planters with sculptural planting arrangements provide the final accent.
