Whitney is a third-generation Austinite, deeply connected to the city she’s watched transform over her lifetime. Her early years were spent quietly playing around her grandfather’s civil engineering firm, where her mother and grandmother also worked. Her first job involved running blueprint copies from mylar drafting sheets, a small step into the world of design and engineering. Today, Whitney balances her time between growing the Blu Fish Collaborative team and enjoying the outdoors with her husband and two young sons. Family adventures often include biking and walking through their neighborhood greenbelt or spending time at one of the family farms.
Whitney is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and brings a unique blend of reason, creativity, and commitment to each design project. Her experience spans diverse sectors, including commercial, retail, corporate offices, and educational facilities from K-12 to higher education. Recently, her primary focus has been on delivering functional and beautiful designs for corporate and educational environments. Whitney takes great pride in seeing the projects she contributes to serve their intended purpose for the communities and clients they were designed for.
